Welcome!

Hervey Bay’s Premier Acrobatics, Tumbling & Aerial Arts Studio

At Neophyte Performance, we specialise in empowering athletes to achieve their full potential through expertly structured Acrobatics, Tumbling, Stunting, and Aerial Arts classes. Founded and directed by Maddison Beel, a degree-qualified Sport & Exercise Scientist and Acrobatics Specialist, our studio combines technical precision, creativity, and a passion for movement.

Our mission is simple — to provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every athlete can develop confidence, strength, and flexibility, while learning to move with power and artistry.

What We Offer

Acrobatics Classes (Beginner to Elite)

Our Acrobatics program focuses on body control, flexibility, and strength through tumbling, balances, contortion, and dance-based acrobatic sequences. Classes are grouped by age and ability, allowing every athlete to thrive — from foundational skills to advanced tricks and choreography.

Tumbling

A high-energy class perfect for athletes who love to flip, roll, and twist! Tumbling develops power, coordination, and body awareness through skills like round-offs, handsprings, aerials, and saltos, taught with expert spotting and progressions.

Aerial Arts (Hoop & Silks)

Experience the art of flight with our Aerial program, alternating weekly between Aerial Hoop (Lyra) and Aerial Silks. Students develop core strength, flexibility, and confidence while mastering poses, spins, and creative transitions — combining athleticism with artistry.

Performance Team

For dedicated athletes who love the stage! Our Performance Team trains weekly, performs at local events, and competes throughout Queensland. Members learn teamwork, discipline, and professionalism under the guidance of our elite coaching team.

Boys-Only Acrobatics & Parkour

A high-energy, skill-based class designed to build strength, agility, and confidence through acrobatics and parkour-style movement. Perfect for boys who love to move, climb, and challenge themselves.

Homeschool Acrobatics

A fun and educational morning program for home-educated students, focusing on fitness, flexibility, and teamwork — with options for both recreational and competitive pathways.

🎪 Workshops & Holiday Programs

Throughout the year, Neophyte Performance hosts holiday workshops, guest coach sessions, and themed events, offering athletes the opportunity to explore new skills and connect with our wider acrobatic community. Qualified and Experienced Coaches

All workshops are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches and guest teachers. Our coaches are trained to provide safe, appropriate instruction while creating a positive environment where athletes feel supported and encouraged.

Small Workshop Numbers

We intentionally keep our workshop numbers small to provide athletes with more individual attention, hands-on coaching and opportunities to practise.

Our school holiday workshops are popular and are often completely booked out. We strongly recommend securing your child’s place early to avoid disappointment.

Online Bookings and Payment

All workshops must be booked and paid for through our online booking system before attending.

Places cannot be held without payment. Your child’s place is only confirmed once the online booking and full payment have been successfully completed.

Please ensure you select the correct workshop, date, time and athlete level when booking.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify Neophyte Performance as early as possible if your child can no longer attend their booked workshop.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable and are not eligible for a credit, transfer or make-up class.

This policy applies to illness, changes of plans and non-attendance. Our workshops operate with limited places, qualified coaches and resources organised according to confirmed bookings.
